Crawford Door has one of the largest Hollow Metal divisions in the country. We stock many frames and doors allowing for same day availability. The doors are available furnish only for pick up as well as installed. With many different applications available we highly recommend having a member of our sales staff contact you or come to your location. Common uses include commercial and industrial applications. Doors are both fire and non-fire rated, with gauges ranging from 14-20, painted, manufactured to CSDMA, SDI and HMMA / NAAMM specifications.

Total Door steel doors are available in fire rated and non-rated configurations with your choice of optional finishes and hardware configurations.

Here you see an example of a 90 degree pocketed, electromagnetic hold-open configuration with real wood veneer in a fire rated opening.

Available Industrial Metal Door Configurations

• - Door bodies are 1 3/4" thick stressed skin structures without point loading.
• - Skins of 20, 18 or 16 gauge electro-galvanized, bonderized, stretcher-leveled steel are continuously bonded to the door core and top and bottom rails. They are then welded to latch and hinge styles.
• - Door cores are polystyrene, honeycomb, or 250-degree temperature rise cores.
• - Two standard paint finishes are available, as well as custom painted finishes.
• - Available in fire ratings up to 3 hours as well as positive and negative pressure labels. "S" smoke label. With all finishes.
• - Steel doors can use wood veneer, HPL, or vinyl faces for fire labels up to 3 hours.
• - Temperature rise at exit enclosures UBC 97 & IBC 2000.
• - Available in non-rated configurations.
• - Blast door applications.
• - Hurricane doors.

Commercial Total Door Specifications

Like all Total Doors, the steel door is a complete, integrated door system with all components factory installed. This includes concealed or surface closers, locks, kick plates, gasketing, glazing and metal light kits, and our exclusive concealed electromagnetic holder.

Use the wood core door anywhere you desire an interior-grade abuse or fire resistant wood core door. Perfect for classrooms, healthcare patient rooms and offices. These doors feature:

• A solid wood PC core
• All ANSI Grade 1 system components
• Total Door's patented continuous hinge and locking channel system
• No templating
• Semi-concealed metal stiles prevent warping under varying humidity conditions
• Door edge stiles provide abuse protection
• Clear coated or stained at the factory 20 minute fire rating. Positive and negative pressure labels. "S" Smoke label available with lever or standard panic hardware
• Steel doors can use the same finish as the wood core door for applications requiring a rating above 20 minutes.

Our exclusive flush panic fire exit device offers the smallest projection in the industry at a mere 1/8" with the door in the open position making it virtually flush with the door face. When closed the panic/exit device pops out to 5/8" to meet all fire codes and ADA guidelines. To complete the architectural effect, we can also insert the same finish as the rest of your door such as a custom wood veneer to help you achieve the aesthetics your are looking for.
